Handy, well-made item for around the house

This is a surprisingly versatile, well-made item that I’ve found many uses for around the house. Cereal box out of reach on the top shelf? Not any more. Pesky branch hanging off the edgy of the gutter? No ladder necessary!
The rubber ends of the “nabber” mean it actually has quite a bit of precision and grip. I was skeptical of the claims it could pick up a coin from the ground, but it can without a problem. Cans and boxes stay in the nabber without slipping while taking them down from the higher shelves. Really well made.
Good to know: If you’re considering this for an elderly family member you should know this has some “heft.” It’s not heavy, but when I was using it to reach across the table to pick up a can, I felt I needed to support the tool with my other hand (my forearm wasn’t strong enough).
