Poor functioning

This telescoping pole on which I have brushes to clean snow functions very poorly. It is very difficult to get it to change lengths. It gets stuck easily. The first time I used it the bottom of the pole broke off. I have had other much better functioning poles & in fact I am looking for another one now since this one is almost useless.
